Thales Alenia Space (TAS) is a leading European space company formed in 2007 as a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%). Headquartered in France with significant operations in Italy, TAS designs, integrates, and tests a wide array of space systems including communications, navigation, Earth observation, meteorological, defense, and scientific satellites. The company is also a major contributor to orbital infrastructure projects, it has built over 50% of the pressurized modules of the International Space Station and is involved in programs like the Lunar Gateway.
