Northrop Grumman (USA) is a major aerospace and defense corporation with a significant presence in space systems. Notably, Northrop Grumman developed the Antares medium-class launch vehicle and the Cygnus cargo spacecraft, which together provide resupply services to the International Space Station under NASA’s commercial program. The company is also known for its proposed Omega rocket (since canceled) and is involved in the development of NASA’s Space Launch System and Orion spacecraft (through subsidiaries and partnerships). Additionally, Northrop Grumman produces satellites and spacecraft components, and it acquired Orbital ATK in 2018 to expand its space capabilities.
