Venturi Astrolab

Venturi Astrolab (USA, founded 2020) is building a multi-purpose planetary rover to support upcoming Moon and Mars missions. The rover, named Flex, is designed with a modular payload system so it can carry different instruments, cargo, or even accommodate crew in future adaptations. Astrolab’s rover is electric and built for extreme environments, aiming to assist in activities like site exploration, base construction, resource transport, and science experiments on the lunar surface. In 2022, the company unveiled a full-scale prototype of Flex and has been testing it in desert analog environments. Venturi Astrolab is positioning the rover as a logistical workhorse for NASA’s Artemis program and other commercial lunar ventures, hoping to become the go-to surface mobility provider off Earth.
