Polaris Raumflugzeuge GmbH, based in Bremen, Germany, aims to revolutionize spaceflight with fully reusable spaceplanes. Its primary product, the Aurora spaceplane, is designed to take off and land on runways like an airplane, offering rapid turnaround and frequent missions. Polaris also develops larger hypersonic aircraft and linear aerospike engines to support its space transportation systems. The company has built and flown multiple scaled demonstrators, conducting dozens of test flights and engine hot-fires. With about 48 team members and over €12M raised to date, Polaris aims to enable aircraft-like space access and boost Europe’s launch capabilities.
