About
Rendezvous Robotics emerged from stealth in 2025 with $3M pre-seed funding to commercialize its patented in-space assembly technology. Flat-packed tiles launch to orbit and use electromagnetic docking to autonomously form antennas solar arrays and other infrastructure overcoming launch size limits. Co-founded by MIT researcher Ariel Ekblaw and industry veterans, the company has completed orbital demonstrations on the ISS and is advancing toward large-scale deployment. The TESSERAE system allows space structures to be flexible, repairable and reconfigurable, enabling massive, adaptable platforms for communications, power, and research missions.
