About

iQPS (Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space), founded in 2005 in Fukuoka, is a Japanese satellite manufacturer and operator specialized in synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) technology. The company develops the QPS-SAR series of microsatellites to provide high-resolution, all-weather Earth imagery with a planned constellation of dozens of small SAR satellites for near real-time observation. Since launching its first SAR satellite "Izanagi" in 2019, iQPS has successfully deployed several more radar imaging satellites that can capture data day or night, through clouds, for applications like disaster monitoring and infrastructure surveillance. Having gone public in 2023, iQPS is expanding its fleet and data services to serve both governmental and commercial customers with timely geospatial intelligence.
