Los Angeles-based startup designing large, high-power satellites to enable more capable yet affordable space missions.
K2 Space, founded in 2022 in California by brothers Karan and Neel Kunjur, is building very large satellite buses that offer far higher power and payload capacity at a fraction of the cost of traditional designs. The company has raised substantial funding to scale production and plans to demonstrate its first extra-large satellite in orbit by 2026, providing government and commercial customers an affordable platform for high-performance missions in LEO, MEO, GEO, and beyond.
